Who we are
Lowes Creative Media is a social media marketing and content creation business based in Swindon, Wiltshire, run by Clayton Lowes trading as a sole trader. For any privacy questions, contact lowes_creative@outlook.com 

What information we collect

• Enquiries: your name, email, phone number (if given) and message when you use our contact form, email us or message us on social media.
• Facebook and Instagram lead forms: the details you submit, such as your name, email, phone number and answers to our questions.
• Clients: contact and billing details needed to provide and invoice our services.
• Website usage: with your consent, cookies collect information about how you use our site and whether you arrived from one of our adverts.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call
• To provide the services you've booked, and to invoice you
• With your consent, to measure and improve our advertising
• To send you marketing emails with content tips, client results and our latest services, if you've signed up or asked to hear from us
• If we've met in person and you've given us a business card at a work email address, we may send occasional marketing emails to that address about our services. Every email includes an easy way to unsubscribe, and we'll stop straight away if you ask.

Our legal reasons for using your data

• Replying to enquiries and providing services: our legitimate interests, and taking steps towards or carrying out a contract with you
• Marketing emails to people who have signed up: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time
• Marketing emails to business contacts we've met: our legitimate interests in promoting our services, and you can opt out at any time
• Advertising cookies: your consent
• Keeping financial records: legal obligation

Who we share it with
We only use trusted services needed to run the business:

• Journo Portfolio: hosts our website and contact form
• Google reCAPTCHA: protects our forms from spam
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram): runs our lead forms and, with your consent, measures our adverts
• Xero: invoicing and accounts for clients
• Mailchimp: marketing emails, if you've signed up

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, with safeguards in place as required by UK law.

Cookies
With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel to see whether people visit our site from our adverts and send an enquiry. You can accept or decline these cookies when you first visit, and change your choice at any time using the cookie settings on our site.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months
• Client records: 6 years, as required for tax and accounting
• Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe

Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email lowes_creative@outlook.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
